I’ve realised that getting ready for a trip starts I’ve realised that getting ready for a trip starts long before I zip up my suitcase.

One part of my routine I never skip is looking after my skin after every shower, and lately I’ve been using Olay Vitamin C Brightening Body Lotion. I love how lightweight it feels, and with Vitamin C and Niacinamide, it helps leave my skin looking hydrated and more radiant—perfect for the summer months.

Whether I’m heading off on a city break or planning my next adventure, it’s one of the first things that goes into my travel bag.
What’s one skincare product you never travel without?

Szczecin completely surprised me, and I genuinely Szczecin completely surprised me, and I genuinely think it’s one of the most underrated cities in Poland.

If you’re planning a weekend here, these are three things I wouldn’t skip:

📍 Climb the Castle Tower for panoramic views.
🥪 Try a traditional herring sandwich – it’s a local favourite.
☕ Slow down with a coffee before exploring the riverside and the famous cranes.

Szczecin is full of hidden gems, beautiful cafés and riverside walks, making it perfect for a relaxed city break.

Have you visited Szczecin yet, or is it still on your Poland bucket list?

I’m heading back to India this October, and this t I’m heading back to India this October, and this time I’m determined not to make the same mistakes.
Travelling in India is one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve ever had, but it’s also a destination where a little planning makes a huge difference.
These are the 5 things I’ll be doing differently before my next trip:
🇮🇳 Booking hotels and airport transfers in advance.
🧳 Making my packing list well before departure.
💵 Carrying enough cash for smaller shops and cafés.
🎟️ Reserving popular experiences before they sell out.
📄 Keeping printed copies of my hotel bookings and travel details.
Now I’d love to hear from you.
If you’ve been to India before, what’s one tip you wish someone had told you before your first visit? Share it below—it might help someone planning their dream trip.

I don’t want to spend my first hours in India searching for transport after a long flight.
This time I’ll arrive knowing exactly where I’m going.

Instead of rushing the night before, I’ll slowly collect everything I need.
That means fewer forgotten essentials and much less stress.

Not everywhere accepts cards, especially at markets, small cafés, local shops and taxis.
Having cash makes travelling much easier.

The most popular attractions and safaris can sell out.
I’d rather have everything organised than risk missing out.

Hotel addresses, booking confirmations and transport details.
They’re incredibly useful if your phone battery dies or your internet isn’t working.

If you’ve travelled to India…
👇 Tell me one thing you wish you’d known before your first trip.
I’m travelling again this October and I’d love your advice.
Planning a trip to India for the first time? 🇮🇳 Af Planning a trip to India for the first time? 🇮🇳
After travelling around India myself, these are the things I’d organise before I even get on the plane.

✔️ Book hotels in advance.
✔️ Arrange airport transfers, especially if you’re arriving late.
✔️ Print your hotel addresses and booking confirmations (it’s surprisingly useful when your phone signal isn’t cooperating).
✔️ Make a note of what you’ve already paid for and what you’ll need cash for.
✔️ Book popular attractions before you travel. I’ve used GetYourGuide on several trips and it’s always made planning much easier.
✔️ Pack light, breathable clothing, a universal adapter, sunscreen, comfortable shoes and any medication you might need.
A little preparation makes travelling around India so much more enjoyable, leaving you free to enjoy the incredible food, history, hotels and experiences.

Have you been to India already? What’s one thing you’d add to this list?

If I woke up in Rome tomorrow, this is exactly how If I woke up in Rome tomorrow, this is exactly how I’d spend my day. 🇮🇹

I’d start with a slow morning in a beautiful apartment before heading out to explore one of Europe’s most iconic cities.

I’d wander through Rome’s historic streets, admire the incredible architecture, stop for an authentic Italian pizza (because you simply have to 🍕), and take my time soaking up the atmosphere instead of rushing from landmark to landmark.

Rome is a city that’s best experienced slowly. Beyond famous attractions like the Colosseum, some of the best memories come from getting lost down quiet streets, discovering local cafés, and finding beautiful corners you never planned to visit.

If you’re planning a trip to Szczecin, here are a If you’re planning a trip to Szczecin, here are a few things I genuinely wish I’d known before visiting.
Szczecin isn’t the kind of city that overwhelms you with famous landmarks. Instead, it slowly grows on you through peaceful riverside walks, cosy cafés, green parks and hidden corners that many visitors never discover.
One of the biggest surprises for me was how relaxed it felt. Whether I was enjoying coffee at a local café, wandering through quiet streets or watching the sunset along the Oder River, the city encouraged me to slow down and simply enjoy the moment.
If you’re planning a weekend in Szczecin, I’d recommend giving yourself enough time to explore beyond the main attractions. Some of my favourite memories came from places I found by accident.

Although the Old Town is fairly compact, many of Szczecin’s highlights are spread across different neighbourhoods. The castle, riverside boulevards, cafés, parks and museums are all within easy reach, but you’ll appreciate having a full day—or even a weekend—to explore without rushing.

Unlike some busy tourist cities, Szczecin has a relaxed pace. Many independent cafés open a little later in the morning, so instead of rushing from attraction to attraction, slow down, enjoy a coffee and watch the city wake up.

The riverside completely transforms in the evening. Locals gather for walks, drinks and dinner while the sunset reflects across the Oder River. It’s one of my favourite places in the city and definitely worth planning into your itinerary.

Some of my favourite meals in Szczecin weren’t in the busiest tourist areas. Traditional milk bars, independent cafés and small local restaurants often offer the most authentic experience—and they’re usually much more affordable too.

Compared with many European city breaks, Szczecin offers excellent value. Whether you’re booking a hotel, grabbing a coffee or eating out, you’ll often spend less while still enjoying a fanta
Some cities aren’t meant to be rushed, and York is Some cities aren’t meant to be rushed, and York is definitely one of them.
If I woke up here tomorrow, I’d make myself a coffee, take my time getting ready, and head out with no real plan. I’d wander through the Shambles, stop at a bakery that smelled too good to walk past, browse the market, listen to street musicians, admire York Minster, and end the day with good food and a drink in one of England’s oldest pubs.
I think we spend so much time trying to fit everything into a weekend that we forget the best memories usually happen when we slow down.
And that’s why choosing a good hotel matters. Not because you’re only looking for somewhere to sleep, but because it’s where your morning begins and where you come back to after a day of exploring. It becomes part of the whole experience.
York is one of those cities I’d happily visit again, simply to wander without an itinerary.
Would you rather spend a weekend ticking off every attraction, or taking it slow and enjoying wherever the day leads?

There are cities that you rush through... and then There are cities that you rush through... and then there are cities like Szczecin.
If I only had one day here, I wouldn’t try to tick off every attraction. I’d slow down and enjoy everything that makes this city so special.
☕ Start the morning with coffee at Caffe Tino.
🚶 Wander through the peaceful streets before they fill with people.
🏰 Climb the Castle Tower for one of the best views over Szczecin.
🥟 Stop for a traditional Polish lunch at Milk Bar Turysta.
🌊 Spend the afternoon walking along the Oder River.
⛴️ Watch the city from the water on a sunset cruise.
🍕 Finish the day with pizza overlooking the skyline.
Szczecin surprised me in the best way. It’s relaxed, affordable and full of little moments that make you slow down and appreciate where you are.

I spend so much time creating destination guides, writing SEO blog articles, filming Reels and helping other travellers, but when it comes to reaching out for collaborations, I still feel like I’m learning.
This autumn I’ll be travelling across India, visiting places including Jaipur, Agra, Delhi and Udaipur, and I’d love to work with hotels, boutique stays and unique travel experiences that align with my content.

Over the past year I’ve been lucky enough to work with hotels, restaurants and activity providers, creating:
📍 Instagram Reels
📍 TikTok videos
📍 Story coverage
📍 Professional photography
📍 SEO blog articles on TravelsBlog.co.uk

Now I’d love to hear from people who have more experience than me.

If you’re a travel creator:
✨ How do you find the right hotel collaborations?
✨ Do you mainly email, use Instagram DMs or work through PR agencies?
✨ What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned?

And if you’re a hotel owner or someone working in hospitality, I’d love your perspective too.
What makes you choose one creator over another?
I’d genuinely appreciate any advice, and hopefully this conversation will help other creators as well.
If you’re based in India and think we’d be a good fit, feel free to get in touch. I’m always looking for partnerships that create genuine value for both sides and inspire future travellers.
