I think spending 4 days in Alicante is sufficient. In December, you may not be able to enjoy the beach as much as in the summer, but there are plenty of interesting things to do in nearby villages. On the first day, you can explore the city and enjoy some delicious food. On the second day, consider visiting Villajoyosa and Altea. Day three could be reserved for checking out the attractions in Alicante and relaxing at a beach bar. Finally, on the fourth day before you leave, treat yourself to a lovely breakfast and brunch.

Alicante is definitely worth a visit in December! The city has pleasant winter weather, ideal for leisurely walks on its stunning beaches and discovering the historic Santa Bárbara Castle. December also offers festive holiday lights, markets, and fewer crowds, creating a peaceful yet vibrant atmosphere. Indulge in delicious local cuisine, such as fresh seafood, without enduring long restaurant waits. Additionally, flights and accommodations are usually more affordable, making it a budget-friendly getaway.
